Relatives or friends usually come over for a short period,  so we go visit the typical  touristic part of Roma (Vatican, Panteon, Piazza di Spagna and its Via dei Condotti…). Last week we enjoyed a promenade starting from Isola Tiberina, crossing the Trastevere up to the Gianicolo. I am particularly affectionate to the Isola Tiberina as Giacomo was born in the hospital Fatebenefratelli. It is a small island, boat shaped, in the middle of the city like Ile de la Cité in Paris (even much smaller, there is just the hospital, a church and a coffee bar!). It is where the symbol of the medicine originated from.
